What is the Mothers’ Union?
The Mothers’ Union is an international Christian charity that seeks to support families worldwide. Members cover 83 countries, and are not all mothers, or even all women, but include single and married people, parents, grandparents, and young adults.
For all 4 million members, the Mothers’ Union provides a network through which they can serve Christ in their own community – through prayer, financial support and actively working at the grassroots level in programmes that meet local needs.
The Mothers’ Union also lobbies local and national governments on issues affecting family life and campaigns to challenge legislation that neglects the vulnerable and marginalized. We are also represented at the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women.

We meet monthly, usually on the first Tuesday of the month, and are involved in local projects, fundraising and activities. New members and visitors are always welcome. Our programme for 2024 can be found here.
